Travel advice about Visa
Visa Exemption Policy
China has implemented a unilateral visa-exemption policy for citizens of certain countries, allowing visa-free entry under specific conditions.
1. Policy Overview & Eligible Countries
This policy currently applies to ordinary passport holders from 48 designated countries. This list includes major nations from Europe, North America, and Oceania, such as France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
2. Duration of Stay & Permitted Activities
Eligible travelers are granted visa-free entry for up to 30 calendar days. The permitted purposes for entry include business, tourism, visiting relatives, and transit.
If your region is not covered by Visa Exemptions, you may consider the 144-Hours visa-free transit policy.
Please visit the National Immigration Administration for more information. If you have any concerns about visa, feel free to contact our customer service email for advice.
